If red, it's crimson. When making your world, the progress bar will show either red or purple. Should be done really fast. I don't want to mod my world or edit anything, I just want to see the map after it's created so I can see if the features I wanted have spawned pyramid, living tree, etc. As redawgts mentioned, TerraMap works just fine.

If one half is red, you have crimson. Also, when loading your world or looking at it in the world select menu, the tree with be half and half.

With that being said, what do you think is the best world viewer? As redawgts mentioned, TerraMap works just fine. This is the speediest way to get info to Pipeworks and get a hotfix in the works. Try tedit, it's a map editor but you could just not edit the map.
