Common command-line switches are listed in the following table. Well this is probably a case of execute permissions. Once I had the utility running, I was able to flash everything with no issues on the first attempt. You can use an IP address or a machine name to identify the host. Didn't try it yet but I'm so confident it will work I marked your answer as correct.

Common command switches
You can use an IP address or a machine name to identify the host. As long as you install the Emulex stuff before the HP Agents - it should be fine. The storage system path to the location of lputilnt.eex LUN on the lpurilnt.exe system.
The Proliant Virtual Media is an option, but again I don't know that it would get me any further than I am now. Please enter a title.
When I run the install script logged in as "root" I get this: The list of node machine names and existing igroup names, in pairs. Lputilntt.exe list of drive letters or mount points separated by spaces. Good to have around for that price. A few googles later and I find the Ultimate Boot Disk.
I've spent the lputiont.exe part of 2 days now on what should be an easy task. Why the full path would work versus just calling "lputil" from the same directory doesn't work, is something that I will never understand.

I have the same question Show 0 Likes 0. But this is my history with the emulex and what i used to correct the problem. So an offline firmware upgrade seems like the best bet. This tool uses JavaScript and much of it will not work correctly without it loutilnt.exe. Well this is probably a case of execute permissions. Why would "root" have permission denied? I re-downloaded the firmware, made a 2nd CD and tried again with about a dozen permutations of DOS and driver settings.

Separate the character strings that specify hosts and initiators with spaces. If sdcli cannot find the drive letter specified through the -d lputiln.texe, it displays a list of all LUNs connected to the host.
By default files can't be executed directly.
